Dear Comrades, Sisters and Brothers,
 
Isn't it wonderful that we are in the 21st century?  Love this web format. 
Would like to let everyone know that New Year's Eve tickets will soon be on sale and I'm the lucky chairperson. Will post notice here when they are printed.  Prepaid reservations only, tickets issued when purchased. Should be a blast as usual, good food, Canyon Country with Frankie Cain and party favors to boot!  Who's gonna cook the black eyed peas??? 
 
Meanwhile, we will soon be welcoming our winter friends and we will be working to do extra cleaning around our Home.  If you can help let us know.  On Sept 27 we will have a special  cleaning day with pot luck but are hoping most of the work will already be done by younger hands.  Then the rest of us can just do the white glove test and enjoy each others' company and good food.  (Sure hope Bud does cucumber salad). 
 
We are also attempting to recruit some new members through our 2nd Saturday Music Event.  If you know any returning soldiers let them know.  We will entertain them and possibly we can let them know what our organization has to offer. 
 
Also, note Kim put a barrel out front for donations to "Project Help".  This organization is funded by the AJ School District only for 2 employees and the building.  They need lots of help to make sure the kids of our school district have clean clothes, shoes, and other items not always provided through other organizations. You should stop by sometime and check out this organization.  They are wonderful, caring and doing an awesome job. 
 
The Ladies Auxiliary still works in the kitchen and if you have any questions or comments please direct them to me in person or on my cell 480-560-8863.
 
One of our projects for this year for PAC (political action committee) is to have mini sales each Wednesday afternoon.  If you have some small items to donate, let us know.
